Forms

Forms is the practice of fighting techniques in a pre-arranged order against an imaginary opponent.  When Tae Kwon Do originated, forms were done to prevent injuries to fellow practitioners while practicing dangerous techniques.  In the present day of Tae Kwon Do, we now have safety equipment and can practice with a partner.  We still do forms to develop concentration, balance, discipline and coordination.  When forms are practiced you should put strong emphasis on proper technique, good stances and power with good action-reaction and eye contact on the imaginary opponent.

Click on the Form below to see the form written out in step by step format. The written forms are done in Microsoft Word.  You may be prompted to enter the username & password again when trying to view the videos.
